Our union Sister Dahlia Vertreese of IUOE 68 is running for Hillside Mayor and needs your support to win. There has been a strong showing from a couple of unions, but we need to engage the full strength of our labor movement and rally behind our sister as we did for our endorsed candidates in November.Read more
Labor won big this year, and the news just got better. After a tight race for Florence Township Council, our brother from LIUNA 172, Frank Baldorossi, Jr., prevailed. The final vote tally was 645 to 624, a difference of only 21 votes. We also congratulate IBEW 351 Brother Steve Light, who was elected to serve as a member of Absecon Council and our brother from IBEW 3, Michael Soriano, who secured a major victory in his race for Parsippany mayor.

However, those choices involve more than just pulling a lever on Election Day.Read more
