The registration deadline to vote in New Jersey’s Primary Election is Tuesday, May 17, 2016. The Primary Election itself will take place on Tuesday, June 7, 2016.
There has been a great deal of news coverage on the presidential election, but no matter what we hear from the media, we in the labor movement understand that the outcome of any election depends on voters.
In order to ensure that the candidates who stand for working family values are elected, union members must be registered and get out to vote. You can check if you are registered or obtain a voter registration form by visiting the New Jersey Division of Elections website or by clicking HERE.
Be sure to share this information with all of your family and friends. Most importantly, after you register, don’t forget to vote. This should be familiar to all of us in New Jersey where elections are held every year.
