Verizon picked a fight with its workers, but didn’t have the slightest clue what they were in for. Hundreds of our brothers and sisters across the labor movement stood in solidarity at the Statehouse yesterday to expose the company’s shameful greed. Thousands more are picketing Verizon stores every day to send a message that union busting will never be tolerated.

We need to keep the momentum going. Our solidarity will again be on full display this Friday at a Rally in Jersey City where we are counting on your support. Details are as follows:

Date:

Friday, April 29, 2016

Time:

11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.

Place:

Exchange Place
15 Exchange Place
Jersey City, NJ 07302

We are also setting up new picket lines every day, and you can be part of this effort by “Adopting a Verizon Wireless Store”. For a listing of stores to adopt please CLICK HERE. Please also review store adoption instructions and a list of DOs and DON’Ts.

Your solidarity is essential. It sends a message to Verizon that workers will not be broken, and it gives workers the energy they need to carry on the quest for justice.
