May 3rd National Day of Action
Our brothers and sisters continue to fight for their jobs and against corporate greed at Verizon. Verizon is seeking to cut workers out of the middle class while at the same time is rewarding top executives with obscene pay packages. Verizon is attacking workers' health benefits and eliminating jobs so that CEO Lowell McAdam is able to triple his salary to $23.1 million and so Verizon can pay executives and top shareholders ridiculous sums of money.
Thursday, May 3, 2012, marks the second national day of action to support Verizon workers. We encourage you to join us in leafleting a Verizon store to send a message to the company to bargain a fair contract and to educate the public about Verizon's shameful greed.
