A bill which would strip the ability of public employees to bargain over health care benefits is on a fast track to becoming law unless you stand up and fight. Thousands have turned out to protest this bill because this fight is about more than union rights; it is about preserving our democracy and ensuring that workers have a seat at the table even when times are tough.
The Assembly will vote on this bill on Thursday, and if passed, it will be sent to the Governor for his signature. We will fight this bill to the very end because it silences the voices of 500,000 workers, and in a democracy these voices must be heard.

The arguments have been made again and again. The only thing left to do now is to show our full strength and to join together as one. In other words you have to be here in Trenton with your friends and family. We all support collective bargaining and therefore we all have a connection to this fight. It’s up to you to make the difference.
