Tropicana Slot Techs Say Union!
Casino Slot Techs at Tropicana Casino and Resort voted 19-2 on Monday, October 22, in favor of forming a union with the UAW. These workers join the casino dealers at the same property who formed a union with the UAW by an overwhelming vote of 626-157, or 80 percent in favor, on August 25.
Since the beginning of 2007, casino dealers at Caesars Atlantic City, Bally's Atlantic City, and Trump Plaza Hotel, as well as Slot Techs at Caesars, have also voted in favor of forming a union.
