HAPPY THANKSGIVING: Shop Union to Support Good Union Jobs
We wish you and your family a happy and healthy Thanksgiving, and ask you to continue to shop union on Black Friday – the day after Thanksgiving – as well as through the holiday season. As many of us know, Black Friday is one of the largest shopping days of the year, and there is no better way to spend our union earned dollars than by supporting union jobs.
This is the time of year to keep friends and family in mind, and we ask that when buying groceries and gifts you think of your union family when deciding where to shop – whether it’s to buy a turkey for Thanksgiving dinner, to pick up a bottle of wine, or to stock up on gifts for the holidays.
Let’s talk turkey at the dinner table and let everyone know that over the holidays, you will not shop at Wal-Mart, but shop at stores where employers treat their workers with dignity and respect. Shopping union builds our labor movement.
