Labor Gears Up for Massive Jobs Rally in Washington, DC on 10-2-10
The number one issue for labor, for our economy, and in this election is JOBS. And we in the New Jersey labor movement are ready to make our voices heard in Washington, DC on Saturday, 10-2-10.
The New Jersey State AFL-CIO is leading a massive mobilization effort along with the national coalition group, One Nation, which will take place on the steps of the Lincoln Memorial located on the National Mall. One Nation is made up of labor, civil rights, religious, student, and community organizations from all across the country.
We will send the message that our economic recovery cannot move forward without creating jobs. And working together, we can move our leaders to take action.
