Save the Date – May 22, 2010 – Rally to Protect NJ’s Families & Communities
The New Jersey State AFL-CIO is working with a coalition of community groups and unions to support a massive rally to protest Governor Christie's proposed budget. The budget makes significant cuts in education, public transportation, the Earned Income Tax Credit, and dozens of other vital public services, while at the same time giving a tax break to the wealthy by not renewing the “millionaire’s tax.”
Please save the date and be sure to attend this important event.
The rally is scheduled for Saturday, May 22, 2010 at the State House in Trenton. Check back to this site for logistical details in the near future.
