NLRB Nominees Confirmed, Returning Board to Full-Strength

NLRB_Logo.jpgFor the first time in more than a decade, the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) is now fully staffed with five members and the Board can once again function to protect workers’ rights and enforce our nation’s labor laws. The U.S. Senate’s confirmation of the President’s nominees, Nancy Schiffer and Kent Hirozawa, ends several months of obstruction by the right wing to stop the Board from functioning and marks a major win for working families.

We thank you for the indispensable role you played in this campaign by contacting your U.S. Senators and asking them to confirm the NLRB nominees. With a functioning NLRB, millions of workers will now have a place to fight back when they are unjustly fired and will have real protection of their rights to organize and bargain with their employers. This couldn’t have happened without your help.
