It is with great sadness that we inform you of the passing of George J. Fenwick, former IBEW Local 351 Business Manager.
George J. Fenwick began his career as a rank-and-file electrician with Local 211 in 1958, before becoming an officer at that same union two decades later. In 1995, after Local 211 merged with Locals 592 and 439 to form Local 351, he became the new union’s first business manager. He remained in this position until his retirement.
A dedicated trade-unionist, George J. Fenwick embodied the values that we work every day to uphold, and our entire labor family mourns his passing. His lifelong commitment to the labor movement and his dedication to his family and friends will ensure that his memory lives on. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
