“People before politics” wasn’t just a feel good motto recently when 11 out of 12 New Jersey members of Congress (all Democrats and four of five Republicans) expressed their opposition to AHCA (Trump/Ryan care).

We extend a heartfelt THANK YOU to Democrats Norcross, Sires, Pallone, Watson Coleman, Payne, Pascrell, and Gottheimer. And to Republican Members LoBiondo, Smith, Lance, and Frelinghuysen - a special thank you for putting your constituents first.

AFL-CIO Richard Trumka sent a personal letter of gratitude to each of these Republicans this week. In that letter he stated, “it was an act of political courage to do what you did” and we couldn’t agree more.
