New Jersey’s Transportation Trust Fund (TTF) has run dry, posing a major threat to our economy, job growth, and state transportation system. Until action is taken to replenish the TTF, our state has no ability to fund future transportation projects and can only pay off the debt on existing projects.
New Jersey’s economy is dependent on a robust transportation system. It makes sense from a financial, safety, and efficiency standpoint to ensure the solvency and long-term stability of the TTF.
The New Jersey State AFL-CIO will remain at the forefront of this issue, which is of great significance to our members and the community at large.
