“After last year’s banner victory for working families, the labor movement will once again mobilize to secure across-the-board victories for pro-worker candidates at all levels of our state’s government,” said New Jersey State AFL-CIO President Charles Wowkanech. “Labor’s voice ensures that New Jersey remains a leader in terms of workplace justice, and together, we will continue to build our economy through job creation, fair wages, and our middle class values of equal opportunity and socioeconomic mobility.”
“This year’s endorsed candidates from U.S. Senate to the municipal level have the experience and dedication necessary to grow our communities prioritizing education, health care, jobs, infrastructure and investment in our future,” added Wowkanech. “The labor movement looks forward to the progress that we will continue to achieve together in these areas after a victory in November.”
